First Impressions Before Seeing The Film

I remember Good Burger before the actual film. It was only Television sketches for about 5 to 10 minutes on the Nickelodeon channel. I love the Kenan and Kel show and I only found about this movie when it was on Nickelodeon (Before Spongebob took over). Before I go on, Nickelodeon had AWESOME Nickelodeon programs for my childhood. We have Rugrats, Ahhh! Real Monsters, Hey Arnold, Kenan and Kel, Sister Sister we had all sorts. Now, Spongebob.....that's basically it.

After I watched the film?

Right, if you have no idea what Kenan and Kel is there just two buddies that get into trouble with random ideas. Kel is the simple guy that always get Kenan into trouble. IMDB storyline says "Two dim-witted teenage boys, are forced to save the fast-food restaurant they work at from going out of business, despite a new-and-improved burger joint opening across the street that want to be the "Top Dog" in the fast food industry." It's weird. This film is a very cheesy, quirky 90s film. It was in another blog for 10 best black comedies personally I didn't see the black comedy. I have been growing up with this I know the difference but this comedy to me isn't a black comedy. Kel has the black comedy elements which makes this film just something to laugh at. Kenan's acting is brillaint. Them two together show a great comedy cheesy film! My family can agree with me because I watched this every day after school for about a year. Plus, the story itself we see them go on a really crazy adventure! You think Rocky and Bullwinkle is a crazy film, should try this! The beginning itself is just nuts and it gets nuttier. 

Should they continue Kenan and Kel or remake Good Burger? 

Well, Kel Mitchell is still acting, directing and even producing. Kel is fine with Kenan Thompson they just went completely different ways and Kel is happy with what Kenan is doing. However, from loads of YouTube messages Kenan doesn't want much to do with Kel at all. They speculate that Kenan believes Kel will get the glory. But, considering Kenan and Kel is a 90s show we have to remember the cheesiness and the randomness. Would it work now? Honestly, no. Here is why. When you think of today's right now television has Family Guy, Game of Thrones, Orange is the New Black. Right, Nickelodeon has different shows right now compare to the 90s. Considering, television is slowly changing and we are exposing to new things Kenan and Kel in small words "no" they shouldn't continue with it. They are in the 30s, only way they can come back is to have a show "Kenan and Kel "Ooh here we go"" and together they run the market, we see them STILL getting into trouble. But, Kel could be running it while Kenan makes the plans could be the whole Blackadder scenario. 

Remake Good Burger......won't work. Ha-ha just won't work let me think right now Comedy wise we have "The Other Woman" with Cameron Diaz. But, kid comedies the only one right now I can think of that isn't animated would be A Million Ways to Die with Seth MacFarlane but I can't think of a live action comedy maybe Tooth Fairy with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson but that's not recent. This type of comedy, can be re-sold in maybe a reunion television show but it just won't work right now in the UK.  

So, what's the bottom line?

If you like Kenan and Kel the television show, MUST WATCH THIS! It's similar but they also click from each other.

Tips if watching the film?

1. If you've never watched Kenan and Kel, either watch one episode before the film or just watch the film and make your own mind up. That's the only tip and always keep an open mind. 
2. Not watching the film, but want to know more about Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell and why they do or not talk check it out on YouTube or just search.

WELL, I can see why IMDB users rated it 5.6....But, as a true Kenan and Kel fan I gave it a 10 because it was just great for me to watch.
